Physiotherapist Resident
Omid Dadgar (MScPT, Robert Gordon University; BSc Biomed, York University) is a Physiotherapy Resident who has a strong foundation in musculoskeletal (MSK) rehabilitation, with a particular focus on sport injuries, joint and muscle pain, nerve pain, and chronic pain management. With a background as a personal trainer and Taekwondo instructor, Omid brings a unique perspective to physiotherapy as he incorporates elements of strength training and functional movement into his practice.
Omid has worked with athletes, active individuals, and those managing long-term conditions. He believes in empowering his patients through education in order to help them gain a deeper understanding of their injuries or conditions. His treatment emphasizes therapeutic movement in combination with manual therapy, functional rehabilitation, and tailored exercise programs to support recovery and injury prevention.
Omid is passionate about continuous learning and stays up-to-date with evidence-based practices to provide the highest standard of care. When he’s not working, he enjoys staying active through soccer, volleyball, Taekwondo, and calisthenics. Omid is fluent in English and Persian and is committed to helping you achieve your fitness and rehab goals!
